Applications are available here via CallForEntry.\u00a0Applications accepted through May 10.\u00a0Artists notified May 20.\u00a0Event Dates: October 11 &amp; 12 and October 18 &amp; 19, 2014, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.<\/p>\n<p>LAST seeks passionate, unique, interesting artists who have an individual style.\u00a0Because one of the event\u2019s goals is to educate the community about art, artists who\u00a0incorporate learning opportunities into their work will have an edge in the application<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Tour helped me connect with people I would not otherwise have met. A number of\u00a0people who were curious about the large sculpture at the entrance to my property were\u00a0able to visit me and learn more about what I do,\u201d said local sculptor Bobbie Carlyle.<\/p>\n<p>Past Loveland Art Studio Tours have provided artists and their patrons with learning and\u00a0networking experiences. Tour attendees have come to Loveland from over 50 different\u00a0zip codes in past years.<\/p>\n<p>Loveland painter George Coll said, \u201cI really like welcoming people into my home and\u00a0studio. It is a really special place for me, and I think most artists feel the same way. For\u00a0me, it is a time to put my work on the walls, and really reflect on all that I\u2019ve done. To\u00a0then share this space where I create is very special.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A change to the tour this year is that sub-sections of the overall tour will be grouped by\u00a0geographic regions in Loveland. For example, studios on the far west side of town will be\u00a0the \u201cFoothills Loop.\u201d A suggested route for each loop will be featured on the map found\u00a0in the Loveland Art Studio Tour brochure highlighting the studios open for tours, other\u00a0points of interest on the route, and supporting food, drink, and lodging locations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meet the Artists Preview Show:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Loveland Art Studio Tour will host an opening reception at the Loveland Museum\/Gallery during Loveland\u2019s Night on the Town, Friday, September 13. Many of the artists\u00a0featured on the tour will be there to discuss their artwork.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Month of LOVEland ARTists:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participating artists will present educational and instructional programming over the\u00a0following month leading up to the tour. Demonstrations, presentations, and workshops\u00a0will be offered at the Loveland Museum &amp; Gallery.\u00a0The Loveland Museum\/Gallery will host a gala Kick-Off party during Loveland\u2019s Night on\u00a0the Town, Friday, October 10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Loveland Art Studio Tour:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Event dates are Saturday, October 11, 2014 and Sunday, October 12, 2014; and\u00a0Saturday, October 18, 2014 and Sunday, October 19, 2014.
