25th Annual Colorado Governor’s Art Show & Sale Introduces its Legacy Artists Program

The Colorado Governor’s Art Show & Sale is pleased to announce a new Legacy Artists program as part of this year’s Silver Anniversary Celebration.

The 7th Annual Loveland Art Studio Tour Held October 10-11 & 17-18

The event is designed to enhance the recognition of the art community in Loveland and allow visitors to see firsthand the quality of work being produced locally.

24th Annual Governor’s Art Show Announces Awards

“We are proud of the 24-year track record the Governor’s Art Show has established of being a place to see and purchase some of the best work by the best artists from throughout Colorado,” said Show Director Pam Osborn. “Entries and interest in the show keep growing each year, and we welcome those interested in seeing and owning these works to Loveland.”

Embracing Loss Through Art, Angela Canada Hopkins Finds Success in Facing Her Challenges

For many, cancer is foreboding, but when it touched the life of Angela Canada Hopkins (www.CanadaHopkins.com), she took inspiration from the challenge. Ms. Hopkins initially painted the disease by deconstructing microscope slides of cancer cells and reinterpreting them. Now, her work has progressed to a more abstract style that references general characteristics of cells. Her unique combination of science and art is beginning to garner more attention.
